Today my Grade 4 teachers asked for websites they could send the students to at home to practice typing, so I was very pleased when I saw this blog post today, as the only ones I had recommended were Dance Mat Typing and TypeRacer. What a great collection of resources. Thanks! I’ll be passing these on to the Grade 4s.

Thanks for putting this out there! As a parent, am I not sure if my children are learning how to touch-type in school, and from what I can see of their home use, they aren’t. Granted, I was in 9th grade before I learned touch-typing (on a typewriter!), but I imagined that it would be introduced much earlier.

Instead of waiting – I’ve decided to see if I can teach them how to touch type……now I have 10 more practice resources than I did before….

THANKS :)
